Belinda Braggins

Belinda is a London-based pianist, composer and songwriter. She moved from studying literature to playing saxophone, then switched to piano due to a strain injury. She writes and improvises pieces for solo piano and works with Brazilian percussionist Tuca Milan. Her site is as much a personal project as it is a showcase of her musical talents. It is in a sense a unique kind of album. A dozen or so pieces are spread across the site, with individual music players to be clicked alongside a description of how the pieces were written, and images of the important people in her life who inspired them. On other pages, her own abstact paintings are used as backgrounds. The site is responsive to varying screen sizes and features animated transitions and fades between the pages. The emphasis is on user experience.
